An Important Note about the Democracy & Civic Engagement Focus Area:

As part of a strategic review, the ZSR Board of Trustees has decided to limit grants in the Democracy and Civic Engagement focus area for the Fall 2009 grant cycle. Only grantees from the past three years (May 2006-present) will be considered for small or strategic grant funding in this focus area. The Board of Trustees will re-examine the Democracy and Civic Engagement focus area through the remainder of 2009 and hopes to announce any changes to the focus area description by early 2010.
